Grover, Design System

During the weekly design system meeting, I approached another member of the team to ask to help with one of the components that would be used in the design system. At this point in time, there was no cohesive design system at Grover, so we had our work cut out to bring it up to speed. I began with the modal component. Many inconsistencies were present. I worked with a colleague to benchmark comparables, define behaviours, and create a new master component. I ran a workshop to test the component, asking the team to recreate instances. Happily the component was fully understood and I finalised documentation and marked ready to ship.
